Blart Attack 2: Dr Zoidburg

So after our last bit of beach art we've been trying to decide what to do for our next attempt, our attempt at doing the Batman symbol was thwarted by the rain and the tide prevented us from doing the Shazam logo. So with Wales Comic Con next weekend we thought in honour of Billy West, who is one of the guests, why not Zoidburg? So with this decided Tranter, Webber and sidekick Kieran went to work armed with two sticks and a garden fork.

Although we didn't have as many pairs of hands this time around the work progressed at quick pace, even with all those circles and curves. With our reduced number there was a lot of trips up and down the steps, but without Waggy less time was wasted even with Tranter taking up his role as class clown.

As we neared completion we started to draw attention some knew what we were drawing, others recognised it as a Simpson character and others thought it was squidward. The best reaction was an overheard comment of "Bitches love Zoidberg" as Tranter explained the drawing to a group of girls.

So after 3 hours of work we finished and look forward to showing it to Billy at the Convention next weekend.

100 SCC Sketch Cards: #100 HELLBOY

Number 100 had to be special and nothing short of the Comic Book Event of the Year seemed fitting. No, not The Avengers movie, and definitely not some-over long squabble between super-types. No, the Comic Book Event of the Year is Mike Mignola's return to drawing a Hellboy Series! HELLBOY IN HELL starts in December and will continue the amazing series of stories that Mignola and Fegrado have been crafting together over the last few years.

And it's not just the Hellboy series, all the BPRD titles that Dark Horse is publishing are bang on the money, the best comics out there, bar none.

Order all of 'em... and tell 'em Pete sent ya!

The ongoing saga of Copperopolis.

With deadlines looming and Pete having already submitted the script months ago, he even drew out a rough layout at the last SCC meeting, it was finally time for Mark 'SonofKen' to pull his finger out for some art duties. After thoroughly washing said finger he came up with this.
We hope you enjoy the Bard Ass Page #1 pencils (subject to change, erasing here and there, whiteout, ink, letters and other comicky stuff)
